PTI on Sunday shortened the long leg of the day when a reporter from local private TV news station Sadaf Naeem died in an accident involving a party container as he covered an event near Sadhoke. did.
Eyewitness reports
According to eyewitness reports, Sadaf attempted to scale the container in order to get his channel to beep. However, due to the large crowd of attendees and the safety of the event being hampered, she accidentally falls out of the container and is run over by her vehicle.
Her two other reporters also tried. But they survived.
After the accident, transferred to Kamonki Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.
She was however pronounced dead by the time she arrived at her medical facility.
Sadaf Biography
Sadaf lived in Iqra in Lahore and she was the mother of two children.
She was accompanying her on her long march that began with her chalk of Liberty in Lahore.
Sadaf joined Channel Five in Dec 2009.
According to her fellow journalists, she has worked consistently hard over the past 12 years.
She has seen her reach her events covering and reporting motorcycles, rickshaws and public transport.
Severe weather conditions did not affect performance.
Sadaf's husband, Naeem Bhatti, said his wife died after falling from a bulkhead when the long march began, after which she was run over by a container.

In a statement to the Kamonki Police, he wrote that this was an accident and that he did not want legal action or an autopsy on his wife's body.
After the accident, Imran announced that he would stop the march.
"I am very sorry to postpone today's march because of the accident," he told participants.
He later tweeted that he was shocked and deeply saddened by the terrible accident of Sadaf Naeem's death during the march. "There are no words to express my grief. My prayers and condolences to the family during this tragic time," he added.
Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has announced financial aid of Rs 2.5 lakh to her family.
He later increased this amount to 5 million rupees by order of Imran of the PTI Chief.
Elahi tweeted praise for Sadaf and offered condolences to her family.
"The Punjab government will take care of the family," he added.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his grief over the unfortunate death of the journalist.
The Prime Minister also spoke with Sadaf's husband on the phone and said the government is with him in this time of grief.
President Arif Alvi expressed his condolences on the death of the journalist and extended his condolences to her family.
In a statement, the president said, "I extend my condolences to the bereaved families at this time of grief. said.
"I knew Sadaf personally. She was a very very brave and hardworking reporter," she added.
He tweeted that it is the responsibility of organizers of social or political events to take precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the public and journalists. I take full responsibility for the lives and property of the people and journalists involved," he added.
Bilawal, who is also chairman of the PPP, has asked the Punjab government to support Sadaf's family, especially her children.
